2020 Land Rover Defender – Dream Cars
The Land Rover Defender is a British four-wheel drive off-road vehicle developed in the 1980s from the original Land Rover series which was launched at the Amsterdam Motor Show in April 1948. After a continuous run of 67 years production finally ended on 29 January 2016 when the last Land Rover Defender, with the number plate H166 HUE, rolled off the production line. A special edition Defender Works was announced in January 2018. The next-generation model, codenamed L663, will be completely redesigned and come in two wheelbase sizes. The next-generation Land Rover Defender L663 will bear little resemblance to the DC100. It will built at the company’s new plant at Nitra, Slovakia. The new Defender is expected to go on sale in 2020. It retains the boxy shape of the old model but gives cues to Land Rover’s design language.
