2019 Toyota Tundra Diesel Redesign – Heres our first look at Toyotas major refresh coming for its Tundra pickup truck. This prototype was caught out and not quite in Ann Arbor, Michigan, rolling beside the street past a further Ford F-150 that followed the Tundra into Toyotas facility. It shouldnt be any admiration that Toyota is benchmarking the segment-leading truck, and unmodified the unusual camouflage hanging beneath this Tundra, we suspect theres more going on here than a facelift and belly tuck.
Take a near see at the rear axle. Thats actually a trick question, because engineers have it obscured considering low-hanging fabric correspondingly we can’t truly see it. Furthermore, when our spy photographers got close for some pictures, the F-150 pulled happening right at the back to block access. Clearly, Toyota has something to conceal put up to there. We dont think its everything as forward looking as independent delay a couple of the photos make public mounting points for astonishment absorbers that look typical for a hermetic rear axle. Toyota could have some air-ride components in there, however.

The ongoing Tundra has been released back in 2006 and throughout its lifetime it only received mild changes. Even though it still is a great truck, it can’t really compete in terms of available technology and features. In order to change all of that it seems an update might be on its way. Even though at this point it hasn’t been confirmed, the update is more than likely going to be released with the upcoming 2019 Toyota Tundra. There are plenty of available rumors about it and while it still is far from release, some of them seem to be on point.

Some suggested this will be an all new model but it might not be the case. While we do hope for major improvements, Toyota showcased how keen they are to keep the trucks tied to their predecessor. This has also been the case with the Tacoma and it may just be with the Tundra as well. At this point most suggest the truck will receive a fully boxed in high strength steel frame. This should allow Toyota to drop up to around 50 pounds from the one before it.
